Edit Cluster Visibility

This section explains how to edit cluster visibility.

Prerequisites

You should join a cluster and have the Cluster Settings Management permission within the cluster. For more information, refer to "Cluster Members" and "Cluster Roles".

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Cluster Settings Management permission, and access your cluster.

  2. Click Cluster Settings > Cluster Visibility in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click Edit Visibility on the right side of the page.

  4. In the Edit Visibility dialog, authorize or revoke authorization to workspaces, then click OK.

    • Clicking on a workspace in the Unauthorized list will authorize the cluster to that workspace.

    • Clicking on a workspace in the Authorized list will revoke authorization to that workspace.

    • Toggle on Set as Public Cluster to authorize the cluster to all workspaces on the KubeSphere platform.

    Warning
    • Please avoid authorizing the host cluster to workspaces, as high load on the host cluster can lead to decreased stability of the multi-cluster system.

    • Removing authorization to a workspace will result in the deletion of all resources of that workspace in the current cluster.
